The Energy Centre Bratislava and European Commission cordially invites you to the International Slovak Biomass Forum 2005 Conference. Coming from results of the four previous successful confer- ence annuals, taking into consideration the recent challenges in the energy sector in Central and Eastern Europe, ISBF 2005 will be dedicated to the main themes:

 

�         How to foster utilization of biomass as renewable energy source in CEE, particularly in New Member States

�         Development of Biomass market towards decentralized energy production and consumption

�         Promotion of biomass markets in legislative, institutional, technological and financial fields

�         Transposition of relevant EC Directives into conditions of CEEC - tools, lessons learned and ways forward

�         Financing of biomass projects

 

 ISBF 2005 will focus on practical and sound solutions of the most important legal, financial, organisa- tional and process bariers recently existing in the market environment. Participants and speakers will be provided with opportunity to inform and to be informed about current status of biomass utilisation in Slovakia/other CEEC, actions planned and future perspectives.

 The main goal is to connect diverse market interest groups, focus on identification of weak points, find out solutions for increasing of biomass share on the total energy consumption in CEEC and significant- ly contribute to biomass take-off in the market environment. ISBF 2005 will help to establish fair busi- ness activities, contacts and ideas among actors from Slovakia and other EU countries.

 The participation on the ISBF 2005 Conference is free of charge. Thanks to the support of the European Commission, travelling and accommodation expenses of participants and speakers will be covered by organisers.
