The
O.Ö. Energiesparverband works to promote energy efficiency
and the use of renewable energy sources and new energy technologies.
The agency’s main objective is to help energy consumers use
energy more efficiently, thereby reducing the environmental
load. The O.Ö. Energiesparverband is a regional energy agency
organized as a non-profit association with 31 members including
energy suppliers, energy consultancies, environmental groups,
professional associations and firms involved in energy technology
and the Upper Austrian government.
Community Research & Development Information Service
CORDIS, the Community Research and Development Information
Service, is a free service provided by the European Commission's
Innovation/SMEs programme. CORDIS offers access to a wide
range of information on EU research and innovation development
activities.

Network
IEA GREENTIE is an international information network that
distributes details of suppliers whose technologies help to
reduce greenhouse gas emissions. GREENTIE also provides information
on leading international organisations and IEA programmes
whose RD&D and information activities centre around clean
energy technologies.
INFELEN
Information server for all those who are interested in information
about power engineering in Slovakia. This source is managed
by the Department of Power Engineering at the Faculty of Power

The Alliance to Save Energy is a coalition of prominent business,
government, environmental, and consumer leaders, who promote
the efficient and clean use of energy worldwide to benefit
consumers, the environment, economy, and national security.
The
European Commission Website for Renewable Energy Sources
This site is designed to be the European information centre
and knowledge gateway for renewable energy, helping to promote
the European Union's strategy to achieve 12% of RES by 2010.

Gas Technology Information Exchange
Greentie provides worldwide access to information on suppliers
of technologies, services, research, date and literature,
pertinent to greenhouse gas mitigation. This is accomplished
through an effective data gathering and distribution network.
CTI
- Climate Technology Innitiative
The CTI was launched at the First Conference of the Parties
to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
in Berlin in 1995, by 23 IEA/OECD countries and the European
Commission. The CTI updated its mission statement in early
1998 and developed a set of core values to guide its work
and policies. The CTI's mission is: To promote the objectives
of the UNFCCC by fostering international co-operation for
accelerated development and diffusion of climate-friendly
technologies and practices for all activities and greenhouse
gases. The core values that guide CTI activities are to: Focus
on areas where the CTI can make a significant difference,
Collaborate closely with developing countries and economies
in transition; Work in partnership with stakeholders, including
the private sector, non-government organisations (NGOs), and
other international organisations; and Mobilise objective
and effective expertise on a voluntary basis.
International
Energy Agency
The International Energy Agency is the energy forum for 25
Member countries. IEA Member governments are committed to
taking joint measures to meet oil supply emergencies. They
have also agreed to share energy information, to co-ordinate
their energy policies and to co-operate in the development
of rational energy programmes. These provisions are embodied
in the Agreement on an International Energy Program, which
established the Agency in 1974. |
